I’m a screenwriter, educator, and creative producer whose work spans narrative fiction, horror, and character-driven drama. This page is a curated collection of application documents for tenure-track positions in film/media studies and production. It includes my CV, teaching philosophy, creative research agenda, and selected course evaluations.

Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is grounded in mentorship, revision, and creative risk-taking. Drawing from rhetorical theory, character-driven screenwriting, and process-based learning, I guide students in discovering their voice, whether they’re writing an academic paper or building a fictional world.

Course Evaluations
Actor and director working with our blindness consultant to choreograph movement for a short film exploring accessibility (2024).
Creative Agenda
This agenda explores my creative practice in horror, speculative TV, and character-centered narrative fiction. I discuss influences ranging from Rob Zombie’s gritty visual style to the intimate, character-driven dialogue of Juno, and reflect on current and future projects across film, stage, and interactive media.
My research engages with genre experimentation, trauma narratives, and transmedia storytelling, with a focus on student and community collaboration.
Behind the Scenes
Directing a late-night mugging scene during the production of award-winning experimental short film In Reverie.

On set of Mimic, a psychological horror short. The team built a green screen in a basement and used chocolate syrup for blood to create practical FX for black-and-white post-processing.
